“Great class!  I feel that the positions we did/learned help relieve any back pain I get.  Thank you!”

“Loved the class.  Found it to be very helpful during this time.  Great to meet other moms ...."

“The program was great.  Very relaxing and just challenging enough.  After leaving the class I always feel so much better and any pain I felt seemed to dissipate.

I look forward to the next session. "

"I can't express how much I enjoyed prenatal yoga. I looked forward to each and every one of the classes. At the end of each class I felt relaxed, better prepared for labor and also better connected to myself.  I think it is one of the main reasons my pregnancy and delivery went so smoothly. Another important part was the atmosphere. I would step into the class room and immediately feel relaxed and cozy. Also, being surrounded by a group of pregnant women made me feel that I wasn't alone in the process."  -GP

Amazing changes occur in the body and mind during pregnancy. Yoga allows us to be in the moment; to accept and appreciate all that is changing. During this  workshop we will practice pregnancy specific postures in a series designed to help expectant moms tone and strengthen while offering relief from back pain, nausea and many common discomforts of pregnancy. We will practice breath and meditation allowing you to reduce anxiety and to prepare for labor in a calm and nurturing environment. Gain balance and strength both physically and mentally while allowing yourself this special time to connect with your baby and other expecting mothers.

Please consult your physician prior to starting a yoga program. Also, It is not recommended that pregnant women begin a yoga program in their first trimester. If you are in your first trimester and have had a consistent yoga practice for at least one year prior to pregnancy please call to inquire.

About Candy

In the early nineties, Candy graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance but instead of dancing, she entered Corporate America and began a career in Marketing. She attended her first yoga class in 1996 to reconnect to her body, regain fitness and encourage creativity. Little did she know that yoga would provide her an overall calmness in dealing with all of what life threw her way. Candy completed her 200-hour Teacher's Training at LivYoga in January of 2007. That Spring, Candy and her new husband found themselves expecting their first child. This new pregnancy lead her to attended Kelli DiFlora's Holistic Prenatal Teacher's Training in Fall of 2007. After practicing all 9-months of pregnancy, Candy was afforded a beautiful natural childbirth. Yoga provided her a means to stay calm, be present throughout labor and delivery and helped breath the baby into the world. Candy's classes pull from her dance roots, gracefully flowing from posture to posture.  Private training, Mommy & me
